07. Glue the bottom and top

After several pre-setting steps, the two shells are glued together under the uniform pressure of a large number of clamps.

After seven days, we remove the clips, trim away any excess adhesive, and sand the rim to remove any remaining adhesive and leave the rim perfectly smooth and pleasant to the touch.

We do not recommend treating the rim before seven days, as the adhesive must shrink to some extent.
