After our shell has gone through all the mechanical processing, dimples and musical fields have been formed, we need to relieve the stress accumulated in the metal. This is done using a heat treatment called tempering and hardening.

The firing temperature and time vary depending on the sound you are looking for. Only through a large number of samples will you be able to arrive at the sound you are looking for.
